June 2, 201411 yr QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 2, 2014 -> 11:18 PM) Tim Anderson on fire--double. Up to .287. He's putting up some big time numbers of late. Milb.com had a video up the other day of his triple, and he showed some big time speed on it.
June 3, 201411 yr Seems like moving Trayce up to leadoff has had a positive impact on him, homers in each of the two previous games and a double today. Maybe this forced him to change his approach at the plate, hopefully he can sustain it for the rest of the season. On a side note Ravelo got his 6th HBP today, will easily set his career high this season. I wonder if the inflated total has something to do with how many long at-bats he keeps racking up, like the pitchers just don't want to battle him so they plunk him and move on?
June 3, 201411 yr Saladino now 3-3 Carlos Sanchez 2-4 with a double Jacob May 2-3 Jirschele only 1-2, average plunges to .538 Cleluis 1-3 with a rare double Micker Adolfo again not in DSL box score, is he stateside?
June 3, 201411 yr QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ Jun 2, 2014 -> 07:43 PM) Saladino now 3-3 Carlos Sanchez 2-4 with a double Jacob May 2-3 Jirschele only 1-2, average plunges to .538 Cleluis 1-3 with a rare double Micker Adolfo again not in DSL box score, is he stateside? He is not listed on the roster, along with Castillo and Done. Guessing they are going to Arizona, no official word.
June 3, 201411 yr Hawkins average now below .250. He's making a lot more contact this season, it's just he has no hit tool at all.
June 3, 201411 yr QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 2, 2014 -> 06:18 PM) Tim Anderson on fire--double. Up to .287. Is there anyway we can combine Anderson and Rondon into one player? Anderson's bat, Rondon's glove.
June 3, 201411 yr QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ Jun 3, 2014 -> 03:03 AM) I swear Matt Davidson goes 1-5 every single night And seemingly never gets a hit past the 4th inning
June 3, 201411 yr Good 2-4 night for prospects: Kevan Smith 2-4, home run Tim Anderson 2-4, double, home run Keon Barnum 2-4, double Trey Michalczewski 2-4, home run (Justin Jirschele 2-4, still no Ks on the year)
June 3, 201411 yr Author Wilkins is starting to heat up too. 3-4 tonight average up to 221 Jaye also worth a good start too. Maybe see him back up later in the year. Edited June 3, 201411 yr by SoxPride18
June 3, 201411 yr QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 2, 2014 -> 09:10 PM) Anderson putting up some huge numbers of late...awesome to see Anderson has star player upside. He's the #1 prospect in the organization for a reason. He has very loud tools. Very raw and frustrating at times but he can be really special.
June 3, 201411 yr QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jun 3, 2014 -> 07:54 AM) Anderson has star player upside. He's the #1 prospect in the organization for a reason. He has very loud tools. Very raw and frustrating at times but he can be really special. Absolutely. The inevitable jump to AA is going to be an important one, but he's an incredibly exciting prospect at this point in time.
June 3, 201411 yr http://www.chicagonow.com/future-sox/2014/...mers-walks-off/ Recap posted. Nice night for the top offensive prospects
June 3, 201411 yr QUOTE (Señor Ding-Dong @ Jun 2, 2014 -> 08:56 PM) Is there anyway we can combine Anderson and Rondon into one player? Anderson's bat, Rondon's glove. You'd have a Mike Trout ceiling player.
