Stein on ESPN 1000 basically saying that the Bulls have never been in it and they know it.

I just don't buy that for a second. If they had no chance Melo wouldn't have met with them first or spent the most time with them.

This LBJ stuff is so crazy that an insider on the OSU board confirmed the #1RB to commit to the buckeyes and nobody has even looked. The LBJ thread is moving onto 200 pages.

Marc Stein is full of f***ing s***. Bulls might be out of it, might have always been out of it, but he never knew

Well that sucked

f***ING GAR/PAX, OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!

whelp, back to work I guess.

If legit, it won't be hard for Melo to know exactly who that friend is

Unless he has a change of heart :)

It's all over. Melo to NYK.

I would trust Broussard over the NY Daily News.

Woj cites the NY Daily News report, but doesn't give his 2 cents.

When it comes to this offseason, I'm not believing anything until I hear it from the player themselves. Stein, Broussard, SAS and pretty much every other NBA writer are so full of s*** and just write s*** to get reactions out of people.

He has been the most pro-bulls possibility out there. Him reporting this means it's set in stone.

There's no use in believing any rumors now

As much as I hope it still comes to fruition for the Bulls, I do expect him to resign with the Knicks.

On another forum I'm on if you post a link from the NY Daily News you get banned since it's a tabloid so I guess I'm conditioned to it. But I'll believe it from anywhere else.

Interesting:

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA 1m

Within Anthony's circle, belief's been this, sources tell Y: Get NY's $129M now, figure out destination later. You can always get a trade.

So the friend hasn't been with Melo in over a week?

I believe Melo's staying in New York, but it still is weaksauce that this is the source being trusted.

I really want nothing to do with that guy. He is a cancer to his team and arguably the biggest douche bag in the NBA.

I think that was today?

Sign a max guaranteed contract with NY now, get traded later? What kind of plan is that?
