Looks like there's potential for some real nasty weather tonight, even heard "derecho" mentioned.

i have a feeling this will be a "cancelled at 4PM"

Any chance for a double header tomorrow?

If fathom started this game thread would anyone say anything?

Well you are a mod now, so you tell us

Wouldn't be surprised if it's a delayed start, but they get it in.

flavum or fathom need to get together and discuss being different, and one of them needs a discernable avatar.

Ha. I do the same thing.

Tornado Watch extending as far east as Boone/DeKalb/LaSalle counties until 7pm CDT. Good bet that it eventually gets extended to cover the rest of NE IL.

Too bad the Angels have a game Thursday. They'll wait.

Chicago is supposed to get hit around 6 to 7 PM from what I read. Multiple tornado warnings across Iowa so far.

Tornado sirens going off in my town in SW Wisconsin. Pretty nasty out. If this is heading Chicago's way, they aint playing tonight.

Now it looks like weather.com says it won't rain. I still plan on leaving for the game as if it would start on time.

*its worth noting that it takes me about 15 mins to get there, if it was a big trip maybe the weather would scare me off

Just pretend they're in Anaheim. 9-midnight game.

The game will not start on time. Forecast says rain & strong winds around 6:45-7:15, lasting up to 2 hrs. We are hopeful to play tonight.

Radar looks like crap. They probably should have banged this one.

It doesn't look that bad out there.....

Game postponed. Will be a straight double header starting at 4:10 on Tuesday.

Probably should have just called it three hours ago, the weather want a surprise.

And June ends at 11-15.

One game thread tomorrow, or two?

Dam rain

The last and only time I've been to a doubleheader was the first Sox game I went to, a scheduled straight doubleheader v. Texas. Am I correct in assuming that I can take my tix for today's game and stay for the second?
