Damn no ones posted in the game thread for 20 minutes. 2 out in the 9th.

68 left.

I like the way he didn't even bother doing anything to Leury other than pump 3 straight fastballs right down the middle. The book on Leury is a one-page book with the word 'out' on it.

We must have the worst bullpen ever.

Hawk and Stone fawning over this pitcher for striking out Leury on 3 fastballs right down the middle.

And Hawk rips Alexei again for the missed tag.

And just overall stupid play.

AJ could fix 'em

Why in God's name didn't Alexei just leave the glove in front of the bag?

Always afraid of contact and trying to make the fancy play when the simplest one is best. Sigh.

On the other hand, odds of Noesi or the Sox bullpen holding the lead while the Sox offense is spring leaks all over and playing on the road is about 10-15% even if they preserve the 1 run lead at the end of the 5th.
