The way they're explaining it is that the bullpen arms are fresh, so they only need 6 right now, and Sanchez gives them flexibility in the infield.

 

Or you can be a skeptic and think a trade is coming, and Sanchez is already there and ready to go.

No reason for Sanchez to be on the roster if he isn't playing.. I hope they are trying to trade Beckham but who knows
