Thanks..... Everyone can now resume their regularly scheduled game thread talk.

I don't care if it's pitching, hitting, tiddlywinks, equestrian events, sex trafficking... Chris Sale's gon' compete.

So glad Beckham is batting in front of Abreu against a RHP.

QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Aug 12, 2014 -> 09:24 PM)
Dunn can do it all. Hit, get on base, play DH, 1B, pitch, play RF...

And after 42 more games...HE GONE

Beckham and Ventura suck. The bullpen too.

Don't forget that Adam Dunn can't hit good pitching....Oh wait, that's wrong too, and I have some proof.

Still can't find the quote I'm lookin for =( "Adam Dunn can't hit good pitching", someone said that, and after an in depth analysis, it's actually quite the opposite.

Seeing the SF ballpark, which is considered to have a "spacious" outfield, reminds me of this again. The size of infields are identical across all stadiums. The outfields are not. Is there a simple resource online anywhere that illustrates their relative sizes?

something that looks like:

Park A has X square feet of outfield

Park B has y square feet of outfield

At Park A it is X feet from pole to pole

Shouldn't affect Abreu's ground outs one bit.

Sox 2-0 thru 5

Good call, he's struggling to get any loft on a fastball

Sandoval is so out of shape.

In his best shape in years according to what Stone said earlier.

Better pack that one away man, he already made his contribution to the series.

Peavy has been a bad pitcher, so you're probably right....Adam Dunn smashes good pitching.

Sale looks terrible at the plate. Robin should not be letting him pitch in NL stadiums if those are the kinds of swings he's gonna take. Yet another boneheaded Ventura move.

11 straight pitches out of the zone for Sale. Lucky that Panik was hacking.

If that is his best shape I would hate to see him any fatter.
