After they got Price, and the A's got Lester, you figured that was going to be the ALCS. Now it may be the play-in game.

Tigers are awful really. Play horrible defense and bullpen is as bad as ours. The only reason I wana see Detroit win is for my 91 year old grandma. She's in th hospital now and reliously watches her tigers. I wana see them win one last one for her.

Garcia can't get his hands in on a belt high fastball and then rolls over the next pitch for his 6-3 special. A lot to like about Avi, but I am nowhere near as big on him as most of the people around here.

 

I have always thought of him as a strong complimentary player, but not likely all star caliber. If he is your 5th best hitter in you lineup, you should have a good offense.

Avi did the same thing last night, rolled over an outside fastball for an easy 6-4-3 double play.
