Hawkins not playing again. Makes me wonder if his season is over.

I hate drama queens on twitter and facebook.

Adams pitching for AZL. Maybe he'll get a playoff start for Great Falls.

Adams with a wacky first, 3 strikeouts, 3 hits and 2 runs, both unearned after a passed ball.

Tim Anderson 2-5 with a pair of singles, and he made his 3rd error for the Barons. That glove is beyond shaky. I really hope he can shore up his defense.

Another couple of strikeouts for Adams in the second, along with a single and a groundout. That sweet K:BB ratio keeps on truckin'.

I'm surprised they didn't move him up... He is too good for AZL hitting. Should be at Kannapolis to see how he fares IMO.

Micker Adolfo 2-2, home run

Adolfo's ISO is up to about .160 now, that's impressive for a 17 year old first year player who's playing against competition 2-3 years older than him.

His power is legit, if he cuts his K% down to a respectable rate next year, you will start seeing him in many Top 100 list.

Adams only went 2 innings. Promotion?

Innings cap. They did the same to Danish.

I'm thinking Adams is done. He's only 18 and had already pitched for his HS this past spring. Nothing left to do but go back home, rest, recoup, enjoy time with friends, family and get ready for spring 2015. Enjoy young man, you earned it!

Before the 2016 season if he's extremely productive in 2015 at some point in Kannapolis. Doubtful it happens, though.

I can confirm this as I read the same thing earlier today. For anyone that wants to see for their self its an open account to the public.

Its his first time away from home and it sounds like he's missing friends and family.

Heh.. OT, but Tyler Danish and Tim Anderson are like BFFs.

Way, way too early to pass any judgements on the kid, but this has me concerned a bit, or more. He just fits the profile of the type of hitter the Sox are oh-so-terrible at developing - great raw power, but having contact/approach/recognition issues that are virtually never properly taught/reinforced/improved by the system. Another guy, whose power the org is smitten with, who may or may not have the ability to improve, but it's not likely to happen here. And the list is long, sadly. Micker should ask for a trade.

I'm worried about Hawkins going into next year. I assume he'll be in B'Ham (should I?). A few blips notwithstanding, he kind of limped home this season. It seems like the Carolina League figured him out as much as he did it. Hope I'm wrong, of course.

Micker can't ask for a trade, and just because you've failed at something before (which many, many organizations fail at doing) doesn't mean you should suddenly stop trying. It takes 1 success out of 20 failures to make it worth it.

I'm not worried at this point. He's 17.
