Starting to feel bad for the A's. You can see how frustrated they are, their body language has been terrible this series.

2014 A's = 2014 Brewers = 2012 White Sox

Chris Sale might just throw a no-hitter/perfect game tomorrow.

Nice work by Bassitt, eh?

Awesome victory tonight. Finally a clutch hit (by A. Garcia). Hopefully that will do wonders for Garcia and get him in the "star mode" for next year. Sox truly need him to be well above average going forward. With Viciedo a bust, but likely LF next year, it'd be nice to have Eaton and A. Garcia all-star caliber or just below all-star caliber which many think they are capable of.

Loved seeing him get that game-winning hit!

Great starting pitching, too. And nice to see the closer whiff Adam Dunn.

I would say to temper your excitement on The Hound because afterall, this is Oakland who could be one of the worst offensive teams going right now. This is like dominating the Twins lineup of a couple years ago. While it's encouraging that he didn't get hit around, I'll hold my enthusiasm until he does this to a good hitting ball club. His next 2 starts should be against the Royals and Tigers, so let's see how he comes out of those.

Very nice work by Bassitt last night. There is a decent chance that there could be a job for him to steal next year.

Nice work by the hound. Let's see some more starts but at the end the day they're major league hitters.

Finally, clutch hit by Avi. Nice to see and he had a BB. Hopefully he finishes strong.

I think I read he has 4 BB and only 2 K so far this September. Obviously a small sample size, but in twice as many games in August he had only 3 BB and 20 K.

This is true.

To go a little further and add his 30ABs pre injury (59 total), he had 9Ks and 7BBs compared to 20/3 in 56 ABs. It'd be nice if August was just him knocking the rust off and the pre injury/Sept K/BB rate is who he really is.....The power will come IMO, not too worried about that part.
