Is Anyone Going To The Saturday Game?

Featured Replies

Is anyone going to the Saturday game and would want to meet up to watch the Ceremony.

Edited by Joshua Strong

I'll be there, but I'll need two tickets. The lower bowl prices are outrageous for a team with our record despite the pregame ceremony. I'll definitely need two tickets though if anyone has got them.

I had tickets for tonight via split season plan and summoned stubhub for (relatively cheap) Saturday/Sunday tickets. I ended up not making it out tonight, which was disappointing; I would have really liked to take in one last generic weeknight game because it would be closest to and most representative of the setting that I've watched Konerko play for the duration of his career.

The next two games will likely be loaded up to the gills with all sorts of festivities (tonight's game had some too, but probably not the the degree that Sat/Sun will) and sentimentality. I look forward to it, but it won't be the same.

I bought 7 of the $7 tickets today for a group of friends of mine to all sit in the bullpen bar tomorrow. I can't wait.

Also, I was at tonight's game in the Skybox. Sox lost, but man I love the free food and dessert cart. Haha.

I will be there. Section 548 row 1 seat 1 & 2

What time does the ceremony start?

According to a Doug Padilla tweet last night, 6:00. First pitch has been pushed back to 6:40.

Great crowd tonight. The most packed I've seen since the Blackout Game 163 in 2008.

Shows we have the fans and they care. We need to get a winning team on that field and have meaningful baseball in September. I am tired of not caring enough when football comes around

Everyone in my section thought Reinsdorf was gonna give the last out ball back to Paulie, so it got a good laugh when he said he was keeping it.

It was a great time, and seeing it filled up made me yearn for playoff baseball.

Showed up to the game early and bought great seats in section 162 row 1 from a dad and his kid for $18 each. This was awesome considering the ridiculous prices that were on StubHub and the fact that I got fake tickets from some jack ass last year for Bears/Packers. It was definitely a moving ceremony.

Yeah, I was in the bullpen bar and we all thought the same thing.
