It would be the worst case scenario for STL if Heyward left and then went to the Cubs too. It's like a slap in the face.

 

I bet they'll fork over the dough for him just so that it'll prevent him from going to the Cubs.

 

I guess its feasible to think that may happen but I don't know. STL is confident in how they develop their own players and usually arent the big players in FA. They will give the big money to a select couple of guys though.
