2015-2016 NFL Thread

That was a dud of a game IMO, Panthers beat themselves. Fumble for a TD, dropped passes, fumbles, missed FG, penalties, etc.

21-11 First downs to Carolina

315 yards to 194 yards, Carolina

To me the Broncos didn't win this game, Panthers pretty much gave it to them with their play

The gif of the night.

Eli looks like a man who just lost a ton of cash on the game.

And Carolina didn't respect Denver's D as much as they should've. They kept dropping Cam back after seeing him get killed over and over again. When a defense is that aggressive and is always in your backfield, then you need to run bunch formations, end arounds, play action and most importantly, option plays and misdirections. The Panthers did very little of that. When they did do it, they almost always hit the open gaps.

As they should.

I'm good with Jackson and/or Trevathan though.

I seriously want to know what was going through Eli's head in that gif.

nobody wants to know what Eli is thinking when he is making Eli face

btw, the 2011 draft was RIDICULOUS. The top 10 alone is amazing

This was an interesting breakdown that basically says the exact same thing. The Panthers didn't change a damn thing, so the Broncos just ate them up.

Carolina ran one screen. Denver shower a ton of Bear fronts and blitzes and Carolina had no idea what to do. When you know you have bad tackles against great pass rushers you have to do something to offset their aggressiveness. They did nothing.
