This why a guy like (im going way back) like Scot Shields is so important to a pen. You need to find a guy with a rubber arm that can eat quality innings when your rotation gets short on innings, especially on the coast.

IN may the Sox are 2nd in the AL in batting average and 11th in runs scored. A huge improvement.
