21. Everrett, P

39. Hooper, P

41. Orimolye, OF

43. Hill, P

46. McCarthy, OF

RHP Grayson Long gone too -- fits the high floor, 4-5, quick riser WSox like.

I'm surprised Demi Orimoloye is still on the board, really big kid that is still raw but has the physical tools to become a monster. Might be an interesting pick but I'm not sure if we can afford him.

If a good lefty arm is on the board, that's probably more the Sox speed with this pick.

but the development of the hitters is still based on bad luck.

It is based on inferior talent, not luck.

Matt Hall from Missouri St. would be a nice pick. Dominated Arkansas (who crushed Jon Harris), and I believe he led the NCAA in strikeouts

All depends on how much homework was done. I'd be okay taking the flyer on Everett. Still a lot of money for a HSer to turn down. That is all assuming he isn't repped by Boras. If he is, nevermind.

Matuella recovering from Tommy John, but his back injury is a bigger long-term concern.

Cabbage off the board. Come on McCarthy

"Twins Picking Cabbage."

Sox officially on the clock. Red Sox just took Mike Matheny's son.

Zack Erwin, LHP Clemson. Don't like this pick. Reminds me too much of Tyler Lumsden, haha. That said, should have a shot at being a back of rotation guy. Should allow them to save some money hear to potentially use on another guy later.
