Three hits. Almost everybody thought the hitting would be better this year. But it's beyond pathetic. I wonder how long the Sox will be a last place team, how many years. We're used to the Blackhawks glory years? I think starting last year we're entering a long period of White Sox dregs years. This team has no outstanding talent in the minors besides pitchers and maybe Anderson, who everybody says is a wretched fielder. What are the Sox gonna do?? Woe is us.

The Pirates scored more runs after 7 batters in game 1 of the series than the Sox did in the entire series.

Very true. It was just a continuation of last season's bad baseball. 99 losses or more again this year. Prospects for future look bleak as well. Yikes.
