Both just pulled from game in the 6th. Almost definitely Astros or Cubs

I would lean towards stros. I don think he Cubs are willing to give up Baez which would surely be in this deal if it's them.

Upton didn't get pulled. Kemp did. Ross pulled for precautionary reasons because of big lead.

Maybe they're coming to us.

I don't see a lot of reason to think Ross got pulled because he was traded. It's not like it was the 3rd inning.

I'm told Tyson Ross being taken out after five innings is precautionary, with a big lead. No trade.

This is getting to be like that situation when enterprising net researchers are tracking private planes whenever there are big name football and basketball coaches rumored to be on the move to these smaller college down regional airports.

Anything happens with a top minor league prospect (goes out of the game or not in the starting line-up) and it's quickly assumed he's being traded.

Ah, the trade deadline.
