Cubs are 7-0 against the Mets. They should be favored.

The Mets after they acquired Cespedes were a completely different team.

If I remember right, the Cubs played all their games against the Mets early in the season.

Bryant with an awful error, there.

Both teams are totally different than when they originally met.

I think it's a clean slate and whoever wins, wins. It could go either way, but I'm hoping and praying that the Mets can pull this out.

I hate the idea of bunting with Wong here with Cruz on deck.

Is bartman coming alive?

Wow, that's crazy. That would mean we didn't clinch a series at home in 1917, 1919, 1959, and 83.

Or 2005. In Boston, In Anaheim, In Houston.

So bunting with Wong backfired.

Swing away dummies.

They didn't bunt with Wong. He showed bunt on the first pitch and didn't attempt it again.

Clearly. Because he's been useless for the Mets.

Mets were at least in the pennant race. If you wanted them to get rid of Anderson, etc. for a fantasy, so be it.

You have it all figured out. Were you working on the trade?

That was a total suckfest at bat.

I'm surprised Cruz even hit .200 this year. That dude is garbage.

Tony Cruz, get the f*** out. He's worth about negative 5 runs so far this game.

Cruz looks like a Sox prospect with that inability to hit a fastball.

Flowers would have put together a better at bat than that clown.

Are they going to pinch hit for Lackey?

Terrific decision by Matheney to bring back John Lackey on 3 days rest to get 3 bad innings out of him.

The first fastball should have been hit into the stands.

Cruz with the definition of a slider speed bat. Looked awful on 6 fastballs in his two at bats

Amazing how two Cubs' slides ruined the season for two vital players to their team. Rizzo's was clean at least.

Strike 1 not even close.

Its pretty clear even the Cardinals have no confidence in their offense. 2 outs and pinch hitting. Just a desperation move from a team that doesnt really belong in the post season with all of their injuries.

Hats off to the Cardinals for an awesome development system. They now need a real manager.

Lynn or Garcia probably would have done better. But then again, 4 runs in 3 innings isn't hard to beat.
