Introductory Press Conference

Featured Replies

Why haven't the Sox held a press conference yet introducing Lawrie and Frazier yet? I could be wrong with the timing, but I know they introduced Samardzija, Robertson, and Cabrera all at once last year, so maybe they are waiting until they are completely done?

Hopefully we sign Upton or Cespedes and we can have another 3 players to introduce at a press conference.

Thou hath answered thy own question.

The next two weeks are the holiday season. I'm guessing those guys couldn't make it in to Chicago because of other scheduled plans?

Plus I'm sure they wanted the Cubs press conferences to 'blow over' a bit or they'd get lost in them.

I think Frazier has something more important going on

Probably both a sign that we don't think we are done yet and to let Frazier worry about more important things.

They don't typically have press conferences unless it's a big name guy. Frazier would count as one, but Lawrie would not. With that said, I bet they don't have one for either.

Most likely this. But I'm sure if they do add a Cespedes or Upton, they will do one for all three.

Soxfest is soon enough. I'm sure they'll get the new guys there.

Rick wanted to but Kenny shot it down.

Frazier had a baby few days after getting traded.
