Spring training 3/8: brewers vs White Sox 2:05 start

Safe to say that Anderson kid gets cut.

Edit: strange - he had somewhat decent stats last year in a lot of innings.

They need to start/play Sanchez at SS more, because he's clearly hitting the best out of the candidates so far (small sample size, but still).

11 homers by 11 different players is just a really fun stat.

AVI PULLED A HOMER!

Whoa. Garcia destroyed that one.

Now that is the Avi we need to be seeing this year. Monster homer on a hanger that he actually pulled!

Avi destroyed that ball. 9-0.

He's pissed.

Good.

Avi bombs away line shot to deep deep left HR after a Melky single. I like Willie Harris.

Me too. Extremely likable.

12 homers by 12 different players is even more fun.

I know it's spring training and all this means nothing, but this is damn fun.

Break out all of the cliches:

Where were these bats last year?

Save something for the regular season.

That's what I'm talking' about.

I'm drinking the Sox "Kool Aid"

That countdown clock is funny.

Triple and HR both off righties. Right ?

"Save some for the regular season." Also, "If you don't use it, you lose it."

Man, I hate that one. Especially because I think most people who use it don't know what it means.

Is there really people out there that don't understand what that means or where it came from?

I'm not one to pay attention to ST stats, but stuff like Avi pulling the ball is encouraging.

It gets misused a lot. And really, over 300 kids died. Maybe it shouldn't be reduced to sports joke.

9-2, bottom 3. Danks got a little wild.

Another hit for Carlos Sanchez. He's got value, even if it isn't with the Sox long term.

LOL

Mercy rule?
