That is when the stadium debt is supposed to be paid off.

It's not a science fiction museum, but it should bring in a lot of revenue and tourist to the city.

I liked the idea better when they tore up a parking lot to put in a museum a rich guy was paying for completely.

Sox bonds expire 2029, and bears in 2033

If Lucas wants to build this absurd concrete love letter to himself, then he can spend his own 1.2B dollars

They want taxpayers to front the $1 billion museum (that won't even house Star Wars artifacts), good f***ing luck with that.

The taxpayers got screwed on the new CF scoreboard. There was a big green dot in the middle of it last night. Falling apart 3 games in.

I mean, he basically got a free lease in that deal, but I agree I liked that more.

No kidding, I just kept staring at that green dot everytime I looked at the count.

I tried to ignore it myself, but I couldn't, just focused right on it. Of course it didn't help it was pretty much center cut.

I think the other museums get similar land deals, but the cost of construction plus the endowment basically meant free museum. And when you consider the Bears get MORE PARKING and other concessions, it was a virtual win win.

This just screams rahm bulls*** now

I mean, it's a bad deal, but it's not his fault that the friends of the lake sued over the previous option.
