Latos is just keeping everyone off balance. What a huge outing to go deep into this one.

Seems like the Sox are doing a better job communicating in the field this year with pop flies and what not. There have been some really dumb defensive miscues, but for the most part I would say it's been pretty solid compared to last year.

 

I would really like to see them play small ball. More bunting and slapping the ball the other way. More taking pitches. They are just trying to do too much. They are overthinking it up there at the plate.

Up 2-0 going into the 7th is a must-win game for a team built like the Sox are. They need to be damn near unbeaten in these types of games if they want to get into the postseason.
