I can't wait to enthusiastically not attend that Styx show.

Lol

Tonight is just Boston's night.

Rodon got squeezed a bit.

I'd say. Bucholz gets every pitch on or slightly off the corner

I'll take Ryan Howard at DH for the Sox

Great play by Rollins, nice defensive placement

Jennings is

Buchholz has not given up a hit since there was one out in the second inning. @RedSox

Clay Buchholz has retired 16 of his last 17. Ian Browne

Despite all this seemingly negative information, it has a positive silver lining. The pressure on Hahn will increase to get some kind of left-handed help to counter RH pitching.

Robin giving up by letting Duke face some righties.

Okay there it is. Davidson would be jealous.

I lied, it is 17 in 34 I think

BABIP

Jennings needs to get more chances than Duke. Not sure what's going on this inning

It is amazing, down 2 and keep our Loogy out there against a bunch of right handed hitters

I don't like Robin punting a close game.

Yes, I'm sure one game has Hahn in a vice. I wonder if he has already received the performance improvement plan, one has to wonder.

The bullpen use today is of the mentality where you take a loss tonight so as to win the next two. That works for me.

I'm sure they don't expect Johnson to go long tomorrow

Offense needs to wake up

I think the Sands thing has kind of run its course. He had a few big hits I guess.

Like Sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives...

Or was it "so go the days of our lives"?

They were big hits most definitely. No guessing or vacillating back and forth on the nature of his contributions, lol. Considering virtually nothing was expected of Jerry, and we just faced a knuckleballer yesterday, this became a very real possibility.

Duke isn't a LOOGY and he shouldn't be behind Jennings. Go have a look at his game log, he was rolling before tonight.

That means we're likely to lose then if Johnson doesn't last. Punting tonight in a close game tonight doesn't make a lot of sense to save your bullpen.

Shhh....if Duke is in to face a lefty its "Duke is not a LOOGY!", when he is in to face right handlers its "why is our LOOGY in to face righties????"

He had 9IP in 15 appearances. That's a loogy.

With the Sox getting some rare national coverage tonight on ESPN, how nice would a come-from-behind be!

Just wish they would expand Jennings role a bit. Duke is gonna lead the league in appearances at this rate.

He's consulting with KW over the big board list right now, as we speak.

Speaking of vices, though, one would have thought the "traditional Hahn" would have been in less of a hurry to dump John Danks when there was no clear-cut solution waiting in the wings.

The White Sox were still in first place by more games than at any point since mid-June, 2008.
