Some more thoughts:

 

- Eaton is slumping big time

- Jackson is heating up with the bat when he's placed higher in the batting order

- Avila has no pop, but works a good AB most of the time.

- Putnam should be trusted a lot more in higher leverage situations than Jennings or Albers.

- The offense as a whole is starting to heat up a little bit

- Rodon pitched a decent game

- Saladino should get a lot more playing time than Rollins

Ugh, he should have been safe, he overslid third base. If this was a closer game, he probably wouldn't have gone past second.

Even up 7-1 the Sox can't help but do stupid things... How did Jackson flat out miss the bag?
