All BS aside, if this team isn't going to hit consistently then they have no real chance of contending. Can't just hit when they play a garbage pitching staff (Detroit) and then shut it down again when they face real pitchers.

Nothing unusual about that game. Pretty predictable. Q can't ever get run support. It's almost unbelievable. Stranding the runner at second with one out in the ninth ... you knew a good team like the Indians would win it at home in the bottom of the inning. Nate served it right in there and he put it over the fence.

 

Big deal. They got a better team than the White Sox and a better manager even though some on here don't think managers matter.
