There should be an option to call it after 7. Save pen arms for the next day and not have to use position players, which is bad trend in baseball.

If you take away all of John Danks' bad starts the last couple of years, he easily wins the Cy Young and gets a contract extension from Hahn.

Wasn't Shields supposed to "eat" innings? He only ate 1.2 innings in this one. The game was over at 8-0 why not just leave him out there?

I am 45 never seen a guy traded to a team have this bad of starts over and over EVER!

The FO deserves to get fired. So does most of the team staff. Clean house.

When you would rather watch Paulino, Nestor Molina or Chris Marquez out there, you know things have taken a turn for the worse. Will throw in Zach Stewart for good measure.

So much for Shields bringing bulldog mentality. He's pitching like a f***ing poodle.

Don Cooper has gotten more mileage out of fixing Matt Thornton than any coach in major league history has out of fixing one player.

 

 

Thornton is still pitching with the Padres. Perhaps we should have traded for him instead.
