  1. Harrison is all also guy that has historically ate well off hendricks fwiw
  2. The Top 4 are the 4 best BAs against Hendricks basically in order. Not a huge fan of playing matchups that specifically, but it's pretty whatever.
  3. Engel eats the cubs alive for some reason, I don't hate it. I don't love it, but I don't hate it.
  4. No such thing as a must win game in May, but this feels like one ahead of a tough stretch.
  5. They are, people only give a shit about the win that goes in the standings.
  6. If he keeps this up this at bat will never end
  7. Is it bad that stone said we can’t afford my injuries and my immediate thought was ehhhhh if there’s one we can afford
  8. Florida is damn near last on the list. I think I’d only take Florida over like West Virginia.
  9. The one kinda day I’m totally okay with tony ball
  10. Putting this games in the middle of the first week of May is example number 1000 of the MLB being completely and utterly brain dead.
  11. And an OPS worse than half of them. He’d just be another guy we’re handwringing about.
  12. They also started last season like absolute shit, not sure what your point is.
  13. The difference between Kap and Chuck is that chuck is likeable.
  14. I don’t think madrigals ceiling is all that much higher than that, which is why I was cool with the trade when it happened
  15. I figured if anything a dead ball would help a guy who never barreled the ball anyway honestly. His K Rate is also ballooning which you can’t rally blame on the ball I don’t think.
  16. I just checked in on nick madrigal for the first time and holy hell
  17. I don't know why, but 7-10 feels a whole hell of a lot more salvageable than 6-11
  18. Here's hoping its like a bad shooting streak and they just need to see a bunny go in the hoop. (assuming they don't manage to cock this one up.)
  19. Tony is making damn sure to erase the whatever goodwill he, and leury, for that matter fostered last year as quickly as possible.
  20. Maybe I’m misremembering but I seem to recall there being this exact conversation happening last April and it evened itself out by like June.
  21. Fwiw I don’t really think $6 per 12 ounces is all that expensive, certainly not cheap and it should be cheaper but I’m pretty accustomed to seeing 5-7 bucks for a beer at bars these days. But it is definitely absurd to expect a family of four to spend like $150 dollars per game. The bigger issue is food and soft drinks imo, I can’t even imagine what left field would be like if you get drunk on the cheap.
