  1. I think it's Watson or Thomas at #3, unless Garrett unexpectedly slips.
  2. Sweet, thanks for the responses. Not sure how I posted half of that question in the catch all then it ended up being posted in this thread. My bad, if the mods want to move this over to the catch all.
  3. Does anyone know how many users can be on one account for MLB.TV? Does is max out at a certain number of people watching games with only 1 log in account?
  4. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 25, 2017 -> 09:20 AM) Do it. Put a tv in there to supplement with videos. I've brought up putting a TV in there and for some reason my wife is against having a TV in the garage. I'm sure I could get one in there if it comes down to it.
  5. We are throwing around the idea of building a little home gym in our garage with a squat rack, bench, dumb bells, etc. My wife was really into crossfit before she got pregnant and instead of paying $150/month for crossfit dues, she would rather do her own thing at home. I hate going to the gym so I would be much more inclined to workout if we had equipment at home. Has anyone done this? Thoughts?

    Life as a New Parent

We welcomed our daughter into the world in September. It's been quite the experience already. She is on the verge of crawling so soon enough she will be all over the place. I personally can't wait for that, as I think it will be a lot of fun, and everyone I mention that to just laughs at me like I am clueless. Guess we shall see. But I echo those statements, when your kid smiles at the sight of you, that's what it's all about. Forget about any other problems in life. We signed contract to build a house about a week after she was born and my wife's family offered to let us stay with them while the house is being built. I feel like it's been a blessing and a curse. There are now 6 adults and our daughter staying there...in a 1 bathroom house...But it has been cool for them and for us that they have been such a big part of the first year of her life, and they are very helpful with her. Any of you that have lived with your in-laws for an extended period of time should feel my pain though. Just can't wait until the house is finished in May/June and get back to how we want to do things on a daily basis.
  7. Interesting. Rabbit, why did you just tweet then delete? Paraphrasing but said Quintana was only scheduled for Friday Soxfest and now is not attending today. Any news?
  8. QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 19, 2017 -> 12:26 PM) Yes. That is freaking awesome. Save me the money of purchasing MLB.TV this year.
  9. So if I get a buddies cable info that lives in Chicago then I will be able to stream games through the NBC Sports app on roku, right?
  10. Per Levine Sox are signing catcher Gio Soto. For some reason not letting me copy from Twitter.
  11. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Nov 22, 2016 -> 01:45 PM) Anyone have a Surface Pro? My wife has been hinting that she wants one and i've been looking at possibly getting one during Black Friday. I'm just not sold that it's worth it. I don't think she would use it for anything more than streaming shows/movies, checking email, surfing the web and looking at photos of our kids. She's not going to be drawing portraits like a sketch artist or whatever. Is there a need for this over a tablet? Is it going to last longer? Any reviews? I use it as my work computer (Sales). The idea behind them getting these for us was to use them for sales presentations and to work in between sales meetings. I like it a lot for what it is. I don't use the pen that comes with it, instead just use it as I would any other computer. It is cool that it can be a tablet or more like a laptop if you have the attached keyboard and Bluetooth mouse. To me it seems very similar to an iPad.
  12. Was offered Melvin Gordon for Lamar Miller. .5 PPR. I'm tempted, but at the same time expect Lamar to start getting some TD's at some point. Input?
  13. Statement from Josh Gordon "After careful thought and deep consideration I've decided that I need to step away from pursuing my return to the Browns and my football career to enter an in-patient rehabilitation facility. This is the right decision for me and one that I hope will enable me to gain full control of my life and continue on a path to reach my full potential as a person. I appreciate the support of the NFL, NFLPA, the Browns, my teammates, my agent and the community through this extremely challenging process." Statement from Executive VP of Football Operations Sashi Brown on Josh Gordon "We support Josh in taking this step to seek additional help and treatment. His singular focus must be on his own health. We want nothing more than for Josh to be successful personally and professionally and will not comment on his status with the organization at this time."
  14. Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter · 30m30 minutes ago Josh Gordon announced he is not returning to Browns next week and instead will enter an in-patient rehab facility.
  15. QUOTE (bmags @ Sep 12, 2016 -> 09:53 AM) It could be worse I had Tyrod Taylor. Getting 5 points from your quarterback is a lot harder to overcome. I started Tyrod over Bortles and Rivers...Ended up dropping Rivers to pick up Tyrod and kept Bortles on the bench. Picked up Winston during the games yesterday while he was balling out, so I will be moving forward with Winston and Bortles and just play the better matchup each week.
  16. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Sep 6, 2016 -> 07:17 AM) I didn't get any feedback on my team. What are your guys thoughts? I know I'm kind of weak at WR and TE. I'm curious on people's thoughts on Allen at TE, too. He's available for me to pick up in .5 ppr league. I rolled the dice on Cook as I have a good feeling about him in GB. Zach Miller and our favorite Martellus Bennett are also available. What do you guys think?
  17. QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Aug 28, 2016 -> 11:24 PM) Man, I'm so tempted to go WR/RB heavy early and then take Prescott later. But that is so risky. Ahhhh. That's what I did. Waited on QB, DEF, and TE. Ended up with a combo of Rivers/Bortles at QB, Rams, and rolled the dice on Cook at TE with GB. Extremely deep at RB/WR though.
  18. QUOTE (WhiteSoxLifer @ Aug 30, 2016 -> 03:09 PM) sources: puig has been claimed on waivers. dodgers can try to work out a deal with that team, if they can. https://twitter.com/JonHeyman/status/770727769273663489 Havent seen anything on what team claimed him I realize that no one knows who the claiming team is...but this just wreaks of the White Sox.
  19. To add to the list in Denver; My Brother's Bar is the oldest bar in Denver and makes a pretty mean burger. Cool patio out back. Right next to REI. Ale House is also right in that area and a cool joint to grab some drinks and food.
  20. QUOTE (raBBit @ Aug 22, 2016 -> 04:33 PM) Wow, thank you for all of the great recommendations guys. I am going to print all this out so I have it for when I leave Thursday. Kevo, or anyone really, we're definitely looking to spend some time at a brewery or two. Was there one in particular that has a great tour? No problem. The only brewery where I have actually done a tour is New Belgium up in Ft. Collins, and it was absolutely amazing. I guess I have done Coors as well, but I was thinking specifically craft breweries. I believe Wynkoop might do brewery tours. Even if they don't you should spend an afternoon hopping from Wynkoop to Denver Beer Co and maybe a couple others like Great Divide/Crooked Stave/Epic
  21. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 15, 2016 -> 01:48 PM) There was a free trolly car down the main strip downtown that helped cover a ton of distance in that area. Yeah it runs up and down 16th street mall.
  22. RiNo (River North) has been blowing up lately too. Great Divide has a new brewery and taproom over that way that's pretty awesome.
  23. QUOTE (raBBit @ Aug 15, 2016 -> 11:02 AM) We're just going to uber everywhere we can't walk. Cool. If you guys feel like checking more of an up and coming neighborhood, a couple miles from downtown, an area on Tennyson St. between 38th and 46th is really cool. Great restaurants (Parisi, El Chingon, Mas Kaos, Atomic Cowboy, The Royal, Hops & Pie, and more), bars, and breweries (Call to Arms, De Steeg). Great place to go and hang out for an afternoon/evening if you are looking to stay in Denver but get away from downtown. Union Station and that surrounding area is brand new and really cool. If you cross the river into Lo-Hi there are some cool places. Little Man Ice Cream, Linger, Denver Beer Co is awesome. Feel free to PM me while you're out here if you have any specific questions about anything.
  24. QUOTE (raBBit @ Aug 14, 2016 -> 07:13 PM) I'm going to Denver with the lady the week after this. Unfortunately, the Rockies are out of town but were there for four days. We're staying in a AirBnB house in the Indian Creek neighborhood. I know we'll hit up at least one brewery and go hiking another day but any other suggestions or shared experiences would be appreciated. Are you renting a car and looking to venture around or prefer to be in the downtown area?
  25. QUOTE (lasttriptotulsa @ Aug 5, 2016 -> 10:55 AM) He's hit righties better than lefties this year. 3 of his 4 homers since the break have come off of righties. Haha and I almost didn't post that because I didn't have time to research.
