It's funny, basically the same reason I became a Sox fan is the reason I am quitting the White Sox. My dad came to this country in the 70s from Poland and quickly became a big baseball fan. For obvious TV reasons, he mostly watched the Cubs. But he got sick of how they were proud of being lovable losers and they always had some BS excuse of why they could never be good enough to win. So he became a White Sox fan. 40 years later, my life has come full circle. The White Sox are that team that is proud of being the little engine that almost could. "We're not cheap. Just unlucky. Woe is us."

The recent stretch was fun but I think strength of schedule was a big part of it. Getting beat by better teams on the schedule again. Piggybacking what you and Tony said, when Toews and Kane signed those monster deals, you kind of assumed if 88 was a MVP candidate and 19 was putting up a point per game, it would be enough to at least get you in the playoffs, but that's not even the case with this roster.
