I'm talking super-star if he puts it all together. It's up to him to realize it of course, but I'm in love with the guy as a prospect. Marrero put up an .859 OPS in partial season at B-Ham last year, so I'm really surprised to see him hitting below the Mendoza line at this point. The Sox really need to start making more picks similar to the Trayce Thompson one last year (and going over bonus on similarly talented young players later in the draft). Kannapolis' pitching was pretty spectacular last night. The starter, Terry Doyle, went 7 innings giving up 2 runs on 6 hits; had 7 K's and 1 BB. Then 5 relievers combined to throw 13 innings of shutout ball... giving up only 4 hits... striking out 9 and walking only 3. In total... 20 innings... 2 runs on 10 hits... 16 K's and 4 BB's.
