I think so. This year and next year are guaranteed (13m+27m), then salary is non-guaranteed in 2028-2030 with a void year in 2031. This year he's basically owed what the Bears had left in cap space, so they can fit him. If they want to add more they'll need to make some moves though.

The happiest guy on the team has to be Montez Sweat right now. His suspension is going to be completely forgotten in all of this, he is no longer the focal point of the D Line, all of the opposing OLine will be moved to stopping Simmons instead of holding off Sweat. It allows him to just be obscure lol
