The player is responsible for touching home plate. I know it's hard but most can do it. Rulings can be reversed so the rest is bs.

It's so hard to touch home plate or go back and do it again.

They may get better but seem to lack playoff cajones right now. I would be encouraged by ReyLo and Vaughn stepping up along with the missing regulars. They still need a reliever and 2B giving Leury some bench time.

The fact that he cannot catch is kind of important. Usually you could keep a slumping catcher around for defense. He might want to recall Luke Easter who was a minor league hero.
