Eloy opening day if he earns it
I suppose a compromise would be to offer a one year extension at some point.
-
Eloy opening day if he earns it
Enoy is a youngster maybe 18 and won't be around for a while maybe DSL or AZ ball.

2/25 CWS vs. SFG
Very impressive tie.

2/25 CWS vs. SFG
God forbid we found a pitcher who is ready to step up and maybe even stay healthy?? I forgot the scout who put his neck on the line for Banuelos but maybe he saw something.

Eloy opening day if he earns it
Suggest we take the seven years of service time, give him a gold watch and wish him well. As we have already seen, half of these guys break down and cannot play much anyway.

2/24 Voldemort’s vs. ChiSox, 2 p.m.
2,927 SD fans wild about Manny.

Sullivan: No matter how much $ is spent, it's never enough for fans
You spend some money and a few years later you have no moves you can make. That was the message I got. A small market team has less room for error. Not sure what the answer is.

Harper to Phillies 13yr/330 mil
The whole drama was caused by people claiming to know what they knew nothing about.

2/23 ST Games, split vs. LAD and OAK
Any day you can wave two L flags is a prosperous day. Even on the wrong side of town.

Harper to Phillies 13yr/330 mil
Not all is on Jerry. Considering the size of the market we are the worst fan base in MLB. What is on Jerry is not making our home base more of an inviting community.

Harper to Phillies 13yr/330 mil
Anyone who has to announce they are leaving has issues mostly seeking attention.

Jerry has limited partners non-voting shares. They are investors.

2/23 ST Games, split vs. LAD and OAK
A hundred k season would be a wild success for Moncada.

Donn Roach starting ST game is current Chisox.com headline?
Sorry guys Steve Harvey and Jussie Smollett were not available. Donn Roach mowing them down.

Donn Roach starting ST game is current Chisox.com headline?
Hey we had to smuggle Donn Roach back from the North Korean League to even be in this position. Now we have Manchado and his protege Fernando anchoring the next superstar infield while the Sox rack up another disabled prospect. The only thing that would atone for this injustice would be Moncada and TA stepping up for the Sox port side IF. Nonetheless Sox host Dodgers today at 2:05 CST on Radio 720. Baseball is back. Let's see what Roach has got. And now I give you Ed Farmer.

Sox signing Ervin Santana (pending physical) to milb deal per WSD
I am good with Yonder Hither but Jon Jay sounds like a lateral move at best to compete with Leery Garcia. Sounds like Ervin may be in recovery and we will see how he progresses in spring training. Put him in the 'if healthy' category. Sox are hoping Lightfoot Palka can out-step Avi in RF while they dole out DH duties to the other swingers. Palka Yonder and Abreu in the lineup could at least provide a little offense until Babe Ruth arrives.

White Sox All-Washed Up Team
Dunn ran into the phenom of bullpen guys throwing in the mid-90's. It was not like that when he started.
-
Machado signs with Padres 10/300
Palka spent the last few seasons bulking up and now he has trimmed down. There must be a reason.

Machado signs with Padres 10/300
You've got a problem with 12 road trips to Detroit Cleveland KC and Minneapolis. I suppose he no longer minds hitting at Petco but he would have better numbers at GRF.

A Little Diversion
A's and M's dueling on MLBN. Much better than a polar vortex.

Sox signing Ervin Santana (pending physical) to milb deal per WSD
Ervin coming here was promised he could work with AJP as incentive.

Harper to Phillies 13yr/330 mil
It might not have been clarified until Monday that the big man could not bear to pay 300M to a free agent. Some of the criticism omits that Rick was not controlling the purse strings. If Kenny had begged it could have happened but he chose not to go there. The Sox cannot afford to make money mistakes like the Yankees have.
