I have almost seen enough of Gonzales to say i like him.

Who cares about the 80's. Costas is coming across like a real prima donna jerk. Probably because he is. I want to watch the game tonight not look at graphics of old baseball players.

One thing Venable has brought to the Sox is he wants athletic players at every position. Look at the OF tonight.

Montgomery just looks like a baseball player should look.

It just seems like Vargas should be older than 26, but damn he is just entering his prime years. He is one of the untouchable players in my opinion, unless of course the return is incredible.

I have no problem with the call up. There comes a point where you have become all your going to in AAA and you become stagnant in your development. C. Montgomery is a prime example of that. As a rule you only get better by playing better competition. Now of course there is a chance he his totally overmatched and he has to go back down. But it's time to find that out. I wish him the best and here is to him becoming the everyday RF the Sox have been looking for.

I'm a believer in going after the most athletic and versatile, in terms of different positions they could play, player. I want players that can run and can play good to great defense. Can Chowlowsky play anywhere but SS? If not where are you putting Colson? What about Carlson? I'm sure Venable is going to have a huge say in who is picked and because of that I will trust whomever that is. I think he has a real good feel for the game today and especially his own team.

Antonacci made that tough play look easy. He is turning in to a + LF

Peters is the absolute perfect bench player.

Burke is really turning in to a solid starter. Only 26 yrs old, along with Davis that is a nice start to a solid rotation.

Antonacci is able to convert so easily to LF because of his athleticism. He is very bitter.

Everybody is contributing to this team right now. That just makes the vibe in that clubhouse all the better.

I think Chase knows he has to turn it up with all the IF talent the Sox have coming up.

It's great to see Vargas finally starting to live up to his potential. The Dodgers gave up on him too early imho but now the Sox are benefitting. He is only 26 so he is just coming in to potentially his best years.
