  1. I'm seeing Eisert listed as the starter tonight, has Fedde been scratched or better yet DFA?
  2. Looking at the Sox schedule for June and damn its tough. You have at Minn for 3, at Philly for 3, Braves for 3, Dodgers for 3, at Yanks for 3, at Det for 3, Clev for 3, and KC for 3. Were going to know by July 1st if this team is a contender or pretender.
  3. Muni has the easiest power I have seen since Jim Thome. The ball just jumps off his bat. He has to absolutely love hitting at the Rate. Sox need to seriously start negotiating an extension and lock him up.
  4. I'm tired of the Sox signing players who are always hurt. Your best ability is your availability. If a player has a history of always being hurt, like Hayes, stay the heck way from him.
  5. Wow. We knew this clown was classless but I guess we underestimated how classless.
  6. His celebration was great! This is a game and if your not allowed to have fun why even bother.
  7. Muni has what you call easy power. Damn.
  8. Peters is another guy the Sox need to keep. Only 26 he is an outstanding fielder, can play all 3 OF positions and he isn't a total black hole at the plate.
  9. People forget that Vargas was minor league player of the year in 2021 in the Dodgers organization. He was one of their top prospects but he never put it together at the Major league level. Part of the reason I believe was because they moved him around too much. They played him at 1B and 2B as well as the outfield. He is only 26 and is one of the players the Sox can build around.
  10. Teel looks quite a bit bigger physically than last year. His swing on that HR yesterday was beautiful.
  11. I completely forgot about Baldwin. He could compete for that RF spot. I like Antonacci in LF, Montgomery in CF and then trade for or acquire via FA a solid RF. If Peters produces all season then he is the perfect back up outfielder.
  12. At some point you stop trading pitchers and build around what you got. I think you hold on to Martin and Burke, and then hopefully Shultz becomes the guy you think he is. Then one of the arms in the minors comes up and becomes a solid starter and you have a nice rotation. I see the Sox window for success opening starting next year. If they can add add a solid RF via free agency or trade and a couple big time BP arms they could definitely contend in the AL Central. There is actually legit reason to be optimistic about the near future.
  13. Other than B. Montgomery do the Sox have any OF down on the farm worth getting excited about?
  14. I mean as long as your throwing players like Kelenic, Peters, and Benny out there your not a serious team. None of those 3 have any business being on a MLB team. At some point this organization has to get serious about the OF situation.
  15. This team has improved but nights like tonight show you how far they still are away from contending.
  16. This would be a gut punch of a loss.
  17. Get Hays and Teel back and this team could be fun this summer.
  18. Just maybe things are starting to turn. Fun game.
  19. This is the type of game the Sox have lost the last couple years. Lets change that.
  20. I'm almost sold on Vargas. Almost.
  21. Mune just missed that his last at bat. Of course the bullpen gives it right back.
  22. This SP for Washington likes to give up the HR ball. Hopefully the Sox can take advantage and start a home winning streak.
  23. The ball just jumps off Murakami's bat. As the weather gets hot he is going to rake even more.
