For me, it's more that after the last 3 years, and really outside of 2021, practically the better part of everything post 2008, this fanbase deserves a run of legitimate playoff competing teams. An 11 year playoff drought and no playoff series wins since 2005. Hell, remove '05 from the equation, the Sox haven't won a playoff series since 1917. To say this fanbase is long overdue for a run of success would be the understatement of the millennium.

Looks like it'll come down to the Jays holding onto a 2 run lead in the 9th. Need it to happen, otherwise, this team is in DEEP s%*#.

This are the kind of losses I simply CANNOT tolerate. If Martin came back and was rusty and didn't have it and they lose 6-2 or something like that? It sucks, I hate it, but it is what it is. But Martin had an absolute master class performance on the mound. He completely suffocated Houston's bats. And how does the offense reciprocate? I mean ultimately these series worked out with the Sox taking 2 of 3 from Minnesota, while Cleveland loses 2 of 3 to KC. Still sucks how both series ended with the Sox getting blanked, while the Guardians put belt to ass against the Royals.

Good lord, why does it seem like our games take an eternity to finish?

I feel like this might be the breaking point for this team. The pitching is falling absolutely apart. Martin on the mend, Burke looks cooked. Who can they rely on to give them more than 3 good innings? They just cannot continue to operate this way.

Root canal by far. You can numb the area and a root canal can be worked on fairly easily. Kidney stones, it's generally safer to let smaller stones pass than go the surgical route. But passing a kidney stone is hell, even for a smaller one. Drink water.

Burke needs to pull through and return to form. Zero margin for error.

Zero faith the Angels finish the job after the absolute filth that was yesterday. We need to win today.
