What a disappointment Lucas has been. 6 runs in just over 3 innings out there against a garbage Royals team. I don't care who's on the goddamn mound, that's just inexcusable. The regression must stop.

This team ought to be ashamed of themselves. Some of the worst baseball I've seen played in a long time. We've played 10 games against subpar teams since the ASB and we are 4-6 in those games. And of course, just as the bats start heating up, it's time for the pitching staff and the defense to take a massive shit on the effort. We are finding ways to look as incompetent as remotely possible in a division that is basically being handed to us on a goddamn silver platter.

Of course as soon as our offense starts getting out of its rutt, the pitching tanks.

How is the offense STILL so atrocious!? FIX IT!!!

If I'm Gio or one of the guys in the rotation, I'm ripping Tim, Jose and Yoan a new one right now. These guys have been throwing some absolute gems for a while now, some excellent pitching performances like Giolito had today. And they are ALL going to waste, because these bats are Vanilla Ice. Cold as shit and lame as all fuck.

Tim, Jose and Yoan, if y'all could kindly pull your thumbs squarely out of your fucking asses and start hitting the goddamn ball. That. Would. Be. Great.

Unacceptable. Unac-FUCKING-ceptable. This team is a fucking disgrace currently, namely the bats. Playing sub .500 baseball with 2 4-game gimmee series against the two worst teams in the league, and the best case is we split those. Remarkable. 2-5 stretch.

We are struggling to beat the bottom dwellers of the AL Central, and by extension, the league. Staring a best-case scenario split against the Twins and now Royals. Yeah, playoff teams don't do that.

It's only been 6 games. Honestly, the Twins series felt like this too. They either lose or they make us sweat for several innings while the offense dicks around with their thumbs up their asses for several innings, only to do just enough to squeak out a win.

Blowing a lead and potentially blowing the third series in a row, the 2nd against one of the worst teams in the league and Cleveland winning as icing on the cake. Fuck this offense right now. Holy fucking shit.

We're going to blow this aren't we? Can't rely on this offense for jack effing shit.

The sheer ineptitude of the offense over the past week and thensome is absolutely infuriating, especially considering it's come against subpar competition for the most part. Struggling to score more than 2-3 runs on a regular basis against the Twins and Royals is beyond unacceptable.

I find a twenty in the parking lot on the way to work? That's lucky. A meeting where I had to present a slideshow that I hadn't even started on gets cancelled? That's lucky. A team going wire-to-wire over the span of 6 months and then winning all but one games in the postseason to include 4 consecutive complete game performances?.....Little bit of effort...just a smidge.

Cleveland won today, so no gaining ground, but will need this to maintain. On a sidenote, the Tigers got a last second field goal to edge out Minnesota 17-14.
