Please let this be him getting out of the slump. Still, this team really needs to find ways of generating runs outside of random 1 inning outbursts.

I wish I could be optimistic, but the Sox are starting Anthony Kay against Parker Messick. Messick has been extremely good, while Kay has been...very much not that lately. We're gonna need Kay to bring his best stuff, and I mean, BEST. Stuff.

And ONCE AGAIN squandered a great outing from Davis Martin. Bruh, what does this team have against Martin?

Opening with Murphy, probably your worst pitcher in a critical division series with the lead down to a sliver? Subbing out Doyle for fucking Braden, only for it to cost them on the final play. When is this RISP bs going to fucking stop!? It's doubly bad because Banana Boy was the guy who turned it all around yesterday with that insane 18 pitch AB, and now he's useless again.

The Cubs just went out and scored twice as many runs on the Pirates in 1 game than we had in the entire 3 game series. Ugh...

I'm officially in ultimatum mode with Venable and Getz. Win or you're fired. Simple as that. Win. Or. You're. Fired. Many might say that's extreme and this team being at 75 wins is already exceeding expectations. I don't fucking care. This team was given a PRIME opportunity in an insanely weak American League to nab up a 2 seed and they're fucking it all up, and it's because Venable can't handle his pen like even a quasi decent MLB manager and he can't fix the overwhelming clown-car that is this team's month long woes at the fucking plate. How are we in the middle of fucking September and Murakami and Colson STILL can't figure out what pitches he should and shouldn't swing at!? This is no longer a franchise that can just sit back and say, well we thought we'd win 73 games, but we won 80, so that's great! No, no season is guaranteed. You had a WIDE FUCKING OPEN AL Central and frankly, a wide fucking open AL, and you're imploding. You have 16 games, 16 fucking games. If I don't see the White Sox in that bracket, Venable and Getz better not be back next season. Ishbia better put his fucking foot down and say enough is e-fucking-nough. I'm tired of this Mickey Mouse club bullshit. This franchise is coming off one of the most embarrassing stretches of baseball in the history of the fucking sport. The patience is non-existent and RIGHTFULLY SO. This franchise deserves ZERO patience, because every time we've given them patience, they've went and threw it back in our fucking face! Enough is e-fucking-nough!

In Getz's defense, the issue that needed to be addressed was pitching. The bats shouldn't be the reason this team is fading. But that's exactly the case. The bats have completely let this team down. Say what you want about the pitching, it's hit and miss, but back to back days, the staff brought their stuff and the bats left them hanging out to dry.

This team continues it's run of having random 1 game stints where the bats explode and then proceed to have several days where they spend the whole entire game picking their assholes at the plate.

1.5 lead incoming. This team is absolutely fucked. 3 game homestand before hitting the road for St Louis and a critical series with Cleveland, and they're on the verge of getting swept and no-hit off some of the most downright pathetic offense we've seen all year, which given the past few weeks is saying A LOT.

Problem is that you can't peak for a month, after being doggy doo the previous month and coast to .500 ish ball the rest of the way.

I don't think it's going to take Cleveland getting hot for us to crater down the stretch. This series has been an absolute disaster. We're being bailed out entirely by Cleveland not taking advantage of our ineptitude lately.

I'm so beyond fucking tired of watching the Sox starting pitcher have an excellent start and the bats repay him by spending the entire games with their heads up their ass. Seriously, if I'm Martin, I want to punch every dude in that lineup right now for being downright incompetent.

What's sad is that I've said this about Mune about 6 times in 6 different games over the past 2 weeks. At this point, dude is stuck in a bottomless trap hole.
