in my opinion, one of the biggest plays of the year came early in the season when koch was pitching. Uribe Harris and Konerko turned a hell of a double play that gave them the W. Without harris' quick turn, the tying run would have scored. Thats featured in one of the sox commercials

I was looking at our second half schedule today, specifically the rest of july. We have an 8 game road trip coming up that could be huge. We play two solid AL West teams and then travel to the Jake for a two game set. We all know we always struggle in Oakland. Its a shame the all star break is right now, as the A's have lost 5 of their last 6 and the sox have won 4 straight. Lets hope the sox keep this momentum going and take at least 5 of 8 on this road trip. Heres to a first place second half

our catchers have got to be the worst in the league. When was the last time one of them hit the ball out of the infield. i couldnt watch sandy alomar hit another weak dribble to second base last night and tonight burke is up with the bags loaded and hits into a tailor made double play. something needs to be done about this

Is Thomas officially on the DL yet? If he does, i suggest they bring up Borchard to play DH/RF with Maggs. On a side note, how come the sox would activate a postion player (Maggs) and demote a pitcher? Why does Ben Davis deserve to be on this team more than Felix Diaz?
