If there's one thing Lucas doesn't lack, it's motivation. He's trying very hard out there. He just doesn't have the FB velocity to trick people with his change up anymore. And his lack of a dominant breaking pitch is why he's regressed.

Exactly my point. Already too much dead money on the roster to add yet another $12 million on top of that for a #5 starter. Lucas is a #5 starter.

Andrew Vaughn just leaves me desiring a lot more too often.

It's not really that crazy an ideas when considering his arbitration # is probably coming in at $12 million based on scale. Maybe $12 million are better used elsewhere since the team all of a sudden is flooded with holes.

Batting anyone back to back on this team is inexcusable. They should just forfeit.

Hahn has had a chance to do many constructive things "WITHIN HIS CONTROL" and has refused to them all.

Guys with guaranteed years on ML deals, is there some sort of rule where the union would not allow you to DL a player "just because"? Grandal, Yoan, and Garcia should just be sent home packing and told to come back healthy in 2023. Give someone else a chance at those ABs.

I don't root for injuries, but damn has Leury been one healthy SOB all season. At least he has that going for him, cause he sucks at baseball.
