  1. Did people expect Rodon to be Rodon of last year when he signed for pennies to stay here?
  2. So Kopech is a "flier" to you? Because he's replacing Rodon's 120-130 innings this year. As for RF, there will be no platoon there if Vaughn is what everyone expected to be as a hitter out of college.
  3. Serious and unwilling to field a champion? Go check AL favorites right now.
  4. Their bullpen is a pile of ass. And I'd take a wager on our offense being better than theirs. But off course, Debby Downers would think otherwise.
  5. Gonna be fun seeing the Correa vs Kelly fireworks more often.
  6. It's the equivalent of me renting a Bentley for the weekend and living in my Mom's basement. The Twins aren't going anywhere in 2022, let's stop pretending.
  7. Not really. It's the clearest thing from a one and out deal.
  8. It's only a gaping hole if you think Andrew Vaughn will be a bust out there. Andrew Vaughn needs to play everyday and he is going to get first crack at the lone open position right now which is RF.
  9. Everyone "fake turning in" their imaginary fan card, yet come April they will all be there.
  10. I'm anxiously awaiting the meltdown here the minute he signs elsewhere. (Insert Michael Jackson Popcorn ?. gif)
  11. I don't trust this Front Office to re-invest. I say screw it, keep Kimbrel and hope the "SuperBullpen" works out.
  12. The Sox need additional RELIABLE starting pitching. Carlos Rodon is far from being reliable, and especially not for $18 million.
  13. Carlos Rodon: Has topped 150 innings once, all the way back in 2016 69 120 34 7 132 Those are the innings each season following. You guys are out of your minds if you're OK with handing out $18.4 million for that.
  14. Right, so for a team that counts every next dollar, why take that risk?
  15. And if accepted and his arm falls off (as it's highly possible with him), then we'd be fucked.
  16. Is this accounting for all the missed time from key pieces like Robert and Eloy? The Sox win closer to 100 games had they not missed those guys 2/3 of the season.
