  1. Not sure if it's limited or not, but the fact he's there is encouraging. It's been awhile since I've been this intrigued by a bulls team. Even the minor moves all have strong traits that should be beneficial to the team as a whole. I think the Alize move is gonna be sneaky good. Reminds me a lot of Taj. I'm a homer but I would not be shocked if this is a 4 seed in the east and maybeeeee if they all mesh well a 3.
  2. 3 weeks from training camp and Lavine, Vuc, DeRozan, Caruso, White, and Williams are already working out together. Gotta love that.
  3. Matt Thomas is another interesting signing. Picture perfect 3 point stroke. Put up a 3P% over 40% at high volume in his last 2 years at, you guessed it, Iowa State, then all he did was shoot 48% as a rookie 2 years ago. Not sure he brings anything else to the table, but having a guy like that at the end of your bench is nice.
  4. Stanley lit up the Bulls for 35 points last year, but did little else from an offensive stand point. He is said to be an elite defender though. AKME has added a lot to the defensive side of the ball.
  5. Can he make a Jimmy Butler like jump though? Lol. His per 36 min last year were 17 points and 17 rebounds. That just seems silly. Really like the signing. I would have liked some more size, but how many teams these days really have 2 BIG bigs you gotta worry about?
  6. Alize Johnson it is. Doesn't have great size but that boy can rebound. Had a 20/20 game last year. Gotta have some talent to do that. Love that he made a Rodman post on Twitter when he found out he's coming here..... Probably the best forward available right now. I dig it. Lots of versatility on this team.
  7. Bulls got a chance at Aldridge? He played with DeRozan, so there's that, but I'm guessing he would want to chase a ring.
  8. Really hope they can bring in Millsap. Super thin on bigs unless they plan to give Simonovic good minutes right away.
  9. Has there ever been 2 teammates in the same dunk contest? Also plz don't trade Dame Portland.
  10. The Lauri saga is ova. He's going to Cleveland in a 3 team deal. Bulls are getting Derrick Jones Jr. and a 1st round lottery protected pick from Portland....real nice to get a 1st rounder. Jones is meh but boy, Bulls may have the best dunkers in the league now.
  11. No Josh Allen Saturday... Mitch gets the start.
  12. Yeah, he may be a step down in scoring, but the boost on defense could be worth it. He's a guy that Rick Carlisle started over Porzingus in the playoffs to defend Kawhii and he also has given Giannis problems in the past as well from what I read. I still like the idea of keeping Lauri around but that's mainly because he can stretch the floor. While Maxi may not have as complete an offensive game as Lauri, he still shot over 40% from 3 last year. I like the fit.
  13. Rumors out there of a Lauri for Maxi Kleber trade. This would be a really good move from what I can tell. Looks to be about the same offensively as Lauri, but is said to be a really good defender.
  14. Marko, while still not "Big" is less of a bean pole than I thought. Gonna be real interested to see if he's looked at as a guy who gets solid minutes off the bench right away or if he gets worked in. If Lauri goes they def need another big, but if he stays, do they really need another?
  15. Sham just said there are multiple sign and trade options on the table for Lauri right now. Looking at what's left on the market, I wouldn't mind bringing in Paul Millsap. Especially if Lauri goes. He's become a really good 3 point shooter. Lacks the size, but can still play a role.
  16. DeRozan apparently turned down going to GS, Miami, and the Clippers to go to the Bulls. Lavine along with Eversley played a big roll. Lavine has been "Behind all the deals" this year. Love to hear that.
  17. I was just about to post this. Lol. Kind of a bummer. I started to love the idea of him in the rotation still. Hopefully they can get something for him and Marko can come over and provide much of what Lauri gives them.
  18. Is it officially Michael now? Bulls and Sox? I somehow missed this. Hopefully he's sat back and saw all fans mock pops for being cheap and doesn't wanna follow suit. They should be playing with the big boys.
  19. I'd like them to match within reason, but then you gotta question how far over the luxury tax are they willing to go? I'm probably wrong here but the bulls appear to be at 169m...what I don't understand is if that includes the 19m cap hold for Lauri or not...either way the luxury tax is at 136m. Next year it looks like they're at 143m. Lavine gonna cost you, what 40m? Now you're at 183 without whatever Lauri gets. The Heat, Brooklyn, and Golden State are the only teams over 200m.....will Jerry pony up to play with the big boys? Should he? I'd love to keep Lauri but oof.
  20. Now that he wasn't needed to bring in Ball or DeRozan, I'm liking the idea of Lauri staying. He still hit 40% from 3 last year and always having a stretch on the floor with either Vuk and/or Lauri will help. Especially since one of your stars can't shoot a 3 and will need the spacing. Khem Birch still makes a lot of sense.
  21. He's back with Philly. =( Do the Bulls really need a backup 3? They have a very flexible roster.
  22. A 2nd unit of White-Caruso-Green(plz)-Markkannen-Bradley is not too shabby. Especially when you consider a few starters will be mixed in. Bulls are now 1 of 3 teams to have 3 players in the top 30 of whatever the "ESPN" rating/stat is.
  23. Dylan Cease and Carlos Rodon are tied for 6th in the majors with 149 strikeouts. I love baseball.
  24. The few reports I've seen say defense isn't really his thing so that's disappointing. Appears to be good in the low post offensively though so that's a thing.
