  1. Barnes, is probably the best fit right now and I really hope they can make that happen. With his success against guys like Giannis and KD, who they are more than likely going to have to go through in the playoffs, would be huge. Cleveland would still be a tough matchup in the playoffs though. Idk how Barnes holds up against their bulkier bigs.
  2. Eh, I think the Boras thing is a thing of the past. He won't get a "Home town discount" or anything like that, but I don't think him signing with Boras means he's gone. I'm hoping he stays and takes yet another step forward. He's right on the cusp of at least being considered a top of the rotation guy IMO.
  3. Add Brian Flores to the HC list. I think he's on top of my wish list.
  4. I really think it's time to start considering Lavine as a superstar. Maybe he doesn't get looked at as one because his assists and rebound numbers are meh? From a scoring standpoint, I think he's a superstar. Stats say he's been one of the most efficient scorers in the NBA the last 2 years. 7th in scoring right now and he was 7th last year as well. Among guys in the top 20 this year, only 5 people have better FG%, Joker, KAT, Giannis, LeBron, and KD. The first of those 3 largely score close to the basket, and we'll the other 2 are KD and LeBron...same with last year, 5 guys in the top 20 finished ahead of him. Embiid, Giannis, Joker, Kawhii, and Zion. Outside of Kawhii, the other 4 live in the paint.....Then you look at his 3 point percentage as well. Last year Steph was the only guy in the top 20 with a better 3p% and that was by .2 points(42.1 vs 41.9). This year only KAT has a better percentage by a whole .3 percentage points. The guy is, at the very least, an offensive superstar, IMO. DDR is playing at superstar level this year as well.
  5. What makes a player a superstar? How many superstars are there in the league?
  6. I wish Giannis hype of his brother Alex, who Giannis said could be better than him, was true. He's still out there as is the taller brother. Alex is 6'8" but he's got longggg arms.
  7. I think Boogie for free is worth a shot. Not sure about fit with Vooch, but if it doesn't work out, at the very least you have a guy that can limit Voochs minutes and keep him fresh.
  8. Dame might get shut down for the year. There goes any hope of getting that pick this year.
  9. Pretty meh game, but a wins a win, andddd the Nets lost their 3rd straight soooo that's a nice 2 game lead in the east.
  10. I honestly wonder if they can get away with DDR playing the 4 for awhile. It's small but White-Lavine-Ball-DDR-Vuc could be fun. I think the longer White plays well the better compensation you can get for him. White only has a year left on his contract so I'm not sure if he really makes since for a rebuilding team in Houston (for a disgruntled Wood) but it could always be a 3 team trade.
  11. Nets lose again, Bulls are now in first all by their selves. 11 straight wins in games where DDR plays. That's pretty incredible. I love this team.
  12. 10 in a row now when DDR has played. Starting the year tied with Brooklyn for 1st. Incredible. Coby keeps raising his stock.
  13. First 5 game winning streak since 2017...Bulls have won their last 9 games that DDR has played.
  14. Coby with a double double is nice to see after recording no assists the last game. I'd love to keep him around but with the depth they have it makes more sense to trade him, so raise that value zero. Javonte with double digits too which seems rare.
  15. PWs timeframe was 4 to 6 months from October. Playoffs start in the middle of April, so I guess it's realistic to assume he can be back....I wonder if this means the bulls think there was a setback or if they just planned to shut him down regardless.....It'd be nice if he comes back on the short end of that timetable and gets 2 months of in before the playoffs start.
  16. https://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/265244/NBA-Denies-Bulls-Request-For-Patrick-Williams-Disabled-Player-Exception Not sure what to make of this? Sounds like a money thing?
  17. Man was I wrong about Alize. That guy had one of the highest rebound rates in the NBA last year and now he's been released. I wonder what the issue was as he seemed like the type of guy they could really use. I still don't know what to think about PWill. He could be a chip if they get a longer term solution at the 4 but man do I wanna see him develop. Speaking of him, I read somewhere that he was working out and putting up shots this week. Wonder if he could have an early return.
  18. Yeah, I can't really imagine that happening either. With Ayo somewhat emerging and Caruso doing his thing, Coby is expendable. I don't think they need to trade for a star big, but they need a starting caliber guy out there. Green is a fun player, but to me, he's Keith Bogans out there on a team that can seriously contend. Honestly I'd be happy with a Rip Hamiltonesque upgrade if we're making comps to the last time the bulls were contenders. Maybe a guy like Derrick Favors who's said to be bought out.
  19. The game has been postponed. Womp womp. Only 2 games in a 2 week span sucks for the fans, but should be good for the Bulls.
  20. Oof. I just woke up and have yet to have my coffee. Lol.
  21. Man, if all you did was watch mixtapes you woulda thought Mac McClung was gonna be a superstar such an exciting player in high school where he broke Iverson's record for most points in the state of Virginia.....I'm not really sure what happened to him. Just a big fish in a small pond? I wanna see a Lavine,. McClung, DJJ dunk competition.
  22. Bulls signed Ersan Ilyasova to a 10 day contract. I feel like he's always played well against the bulls. A little puzzling as to why he was still out there on the market. I guess he's not very fast, bit everything I read on him says he's a solid defender. He's also a capable 3 point shooter. Could be a sneaky good move. Doesn't solve the need for a big, but I could see him giving the bulls quality minutes off the bench.
  23. Is Jeffrey Bezos a pipe dream? It's been reported he's wanted to own an NFL team for quite awhile. Does having an owner with the 2nd most money in the world really make that big a difference in a league with a salary cap? I mean, sure, they could move to Arlington and he could make an out of this world stadium, but does that help the product on the field? Perhaps it can lure players over? Can owners pay for non salary type things such as like paying for a players vacation or something like that? I'm sure the money can lure in whatever front office people they want.

    The New Texas

Is that still the case now? (I do apologize if this was something covered in the article. I haven't read it yet. Lol)

    The New Texas

I may be the next transplant out there if I can orchestrate things right. I work for a company that outside of relocating offers me no room for advancement. There's a position in Dallas opening up next month that is pretty much mine if I want it butttttt I'd be on my own getting there and finding a place. Texsox got a basement for me to crash in? Lol.
