It's staggering how much you ignore the big picture.

Overall the reality is there is nothing about this team that says WS contender. Our SP is pretty solid but that is not enough.

I appreciate the awesome extensions, but as far as FA and actually winning and results, and basically the big picture go... Hahn is unequivocally a failure. It's really not arguable. You can blame Jerry for some of it and that is fair but how the team does is going to reflect on him and his FA acquisitions (and lack of them) for the most part have been abysmal.

To be fair, a lineup like ours with Tatis added to it is worth a wet dream or two.

That's 1 of very many elements of it.

"Now" He's been one of our best hitters so far. Everyone has a bad game or stretch. If that makes him trash then I guess it's consistent with Soxtalk logic, which basically means every hitter is trash.

It might be lost on you, but you come across "arrogant" astronomically more often than he does.

We need to show we can win the big ones. Giving Beiber an L would be huge. If we are to be a real contender, you can't just consistently beat the bad teams and matchups, you gotta win at least some of the big ones.
