QUOTE(watchtower41 @ Apr 26, 2007 -> 04:06 PM) Assuming with seperate admissions like the Twins make-up?? What ever happened to the good ole day with lets play 2 for the price of 1?? We still drink the beer Two admissions > one admission. Two parking charges > one parker. Two customers eating and drinking >......you get the idea. Maybe I'm alone in this, but I never liked doubleheaders - for me, there IS such a thing as "too much of a good thing".

Sheryl Crow says we should use one square per "visit". http://www.rte.ie/arts/2007/0424/crows.html I don't want to be anywhere near Sheryl Crow's nether regions.

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Apr 23, 2007 -> 12:56 PM) Mascis will be calling you to say hello. If this doesn't get you to go, nothing will (shamless Dino plug): http://www.mtv.com/overdrive/?vid=143042 God damn, I love that squealy guitar sound!!! ....but that girl guitarist in the video grew up to be FUGLY!

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Apr 23, 2007 -> 12:32 PM) I've heard most if and yes, it rocks. The tour kicks off next month at Casbah in SD followed by three nights at the Troubador in L.A. I think the Padres and Dodgers are at home during the same time too. I already took the time off from work to catch at least two of these shows, I'M GEEKED! By the way, Matt Dillon will be directing one of their videos. What's the deal with Dino asking for phone numbers to register for the pre-sale? I'm not giving anyone my phone number - I get enough f***ing telemarketer calls as it is. I'll wait for the general public on-sale date, if I go at all.

For me, it's the music. Great lyrics can definitely enhance a good song, but I can never get into a bad song if it has great lyrics. The only exception to this rule for me is parody songs - those are obviously lyric-driven and often are terrible musically. But within the musical aspect it can be many things. Most of the time for me, it's the guitar sound. But sometimes it can be something as nebulous as the "feel" or "atmosphere" of a song ("Disintegration" by The Cure comes to mind).

Any list of bad baseball announcers without Santo listed as the worst has zero credibility. He'd have to improve by impossible degrees just to climb up to horrendous.

Just heard a few songs from the upcoming Dinosaur Jr. disc called Beyond, and they're excellent! My favorites are Almost Ready and Been There All The Time. It comes out May 1st and I'll get out there to grab a disc!

QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Apr 22, 2007 -> 02:50 PM) I'm glad I'm only listening to this game. I might've thrown something had I seen that bunt. The worst part about it is that AJ had tried to bunt to the same spot the pitch before. Why not try to pull the bunt to the 1st base side, or maybe just push it a little to the left of the 3B? -

QUOTE(MHizzle85 @ Apr 22, 2007 -> 11:42 AM) I guess Wight is supposed to be rasslin' Hogan in some match in Memphis, and while at it he's been trashin the WWE every time he gets a chance. The Big Slow vs Hasbeen Hip-replacement Hogan = match of the year.

QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Apr 22, 2007 -> 11:14 AM) What? Basically a licensing contract for his name, image, and any catchphrases or slogans relating to him. He knows Wight wants to take some time away from the grind of the standard WWE workrate, so Vince was trying to lock him into a non-wrestling WWE contract, to keep him from considering TNA.
