  1. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Apr 12, 2007 -> 08:54 PM) that was before CBS canned him and when he said he wasn't going to do the talk show circuit to discuss it. Now that he's been sacked I'm sure he'll be rethinking the self-imposed gag order. I wish he would keep the gag in. Washed-up hack.
  2. Nice start for the Wings. Pretty easy 4-1 win. EDITED to give props to Kiprusoff. It would've been about 25-1 if Kip hadn't played as crazy good as he did.
  3. QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Apr 12, 2007 -> 08:42 PM) I've heard that Imus has now "fired back"! What's he saying??? Oh please, oh please, oh please let him have come out with all guns blazing!!! I give it a week before there is a Hip Hop or Rap group named "Nappy Headed Hos" being signed. All I've seen is that after he speaks to the Rutgers team he's done talking about it.
  4. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Apr 12, 2007 -> 10:23 AM) Anyone excited about the Lollapalooza lineup? Not me. I don't see one band on that entire bill that I'd want to pay to see.
  5. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Apr 12, 2007 -> 12:48 AM) when does Spring get involved? March 21st, I think? As for Springer, who knows?
  6. Here's Eddie Van Halen's "Eruption" on the electric cello: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9t1kicp2jE And here's Joe Satriani's "Surfing With The Alien" from the same guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FlGBMAgDGUU...ted&search= Pretty impressive, I think!
  7. QUOTE(That funky motion @ Apr 11, 2007 -> 06:09 PM) That was great Dan, but not as funny as the little kid in your sig. I have been laughing for 5 min. Check this out. Interesting video, but I have to admit that I got distracted by the great song they chose to accompany it. Excellent Ramones cover of a really good Tom Waits song. NICE!
  8. QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Apr 11, 2007 -> 09:16 PM) And a deep, dark secret of The Critic's is exposed. LOL Look, man, everyone knows M-Po is the King Of The Paternity Test! If that bothers you, that is YOUR problem and NOT Maury's!
  9. One out per at-bat is not enough for Brian.
  10. QUOTE(Capn12 @ Apr 11, 2007 -> 03:39 PM) BTW, what do we have to do to keep Black Jack in the booth? I mean, I love Hawk and all...but McDowell knows his stuff and isn't just a monotonous voice. Plus he identifies more with my generation of Sox fans. Wasn't he reluctant to take a full-time broadcasting job? I thought he begged out of full-time consideraton.
  11. QUOTE(Jimbo @ Apr 11, 2007 -> 03:32 PM) Will Molina go ....00000 for the year? Gustav0-for-4.
  12. Rapuano looks PISSED that he got hit with the pickoff throw.
  13. I'm enjoying Comcast's new interactive feature, Guess What Happens On This Play? I got the last one wrong - I guessed double down the line, it was a popup to Konerko.
  14. QUOTE(shawnhillegas @ Apr 11, 2007 -> 03:05 PM) Watching Kennedy makes me think I should be a big league pitcher. Only if you can face the Sox in Oakland every time you pitched. You'd have a hell of a career.
  15. QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 11, 2007 -> 03:03 PM) It is, he jammed them a few days ago. What happened? Iguchi wandered off 3rd on a comebacker and got run down. Still 2nd and 3rd, so no real damage, it just looks like dumb baseball. On second thought, Molina is a much slower runner than Uribe, so there is some potential damage on a single here. But Podsednik grounds out, so it doesn't matter after all.
  16. On the board. Nice! Good work, Juan!!! 3-1 now.
  17. Nice to see Tadahito take that loop out of his swing there.
  18. Defensive Jesus with a nice bobble out there.
  19. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Apr 11, 2007 -> 08:58 AM) CHA CHING Well, yeah, I get that part of it totally. It's just a shame that he couldn't exhibit a little bit of decorum in that situation. Of course, ending up with a whackjob like Anna Nicole kind of scratches decorum off the list anyway.
  20. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Apr 11, 2007 -> 07:28 AM) Kind of hard to say he lost Danielynn, seeing as she was never his to begin with. Which leads me to this point, never sign your name to a birth certificate if you didnt cause the birth. And this saga wont go away for a while. We have TV movies, tell-all books, ET exclusives, the matter of who gets the billionaire inheritance. Unfortunately, this one is gonna be stuck in our craw for quite some time. Stern may have had legit reason to believe the baby was his, and for all we know ANS may have convinced him the baby was his. I thought it was a little weird how Birkhead was posing and celebrating for the media. I understand he's happy that the DNA test confirmed his fathering of the baby, but it just put me off a little bit. Nothing should surprise me in this story, though - plenty of weirdness to go around.
  21. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Apr 10, 2007 -> 07:54 AM) Hey it could always be a coal miner's glove on a pole match. I keep hoping that Vince Russo will someday combine the blindfold match with the scaffold match with the inferno match. Blind High Fire X!!!!!
  22. DNA tests don't mean s*** if Maury Motherf***in' Povich ain't involved. Recognize, b****es!
