  1. QUOTE(Brian @ Nov 16, 2006 -> 04:28 PM) Monty Brown sings with WWE. Well, they found an interesting gimmick for him, anyway.... I hope they give him a new finisher, though - that "pounce" looks like he's bumping into someone at the store or something. Lame and weak. EDITED to remind everyone that tonight is the first PRYYYME TYYYYME episode of TNA iMPACT!
  2. C'mon, LMB, he's just SPECULATING....
  3. QUOTE(redandwhite @ Nov 15, 2006 -> 12:30 PM) http://www.kgw.com/news-local/stories/kgw_..._.1ea1e06a.html For you ladies, what might be the appeal of having sex with a student? Perhaps the same rush somebody gets from breaking the law? I just don't get it really, it's not like most of these women would have trouble finding a man to sleep with, and even if they were into kids, how come they never called my name to stay after class to help clean up? Well, they could probably tell that you couldn't understand why they'd want you....
  4. The skit with Cryme Tyme scalping tickets to DX outside the venue was pretty funny. HHH to HBK: "What're they sayin?? What're they sayin???"
  5. QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Nov 13, 2006 -> 07:39 PM) So Beyonce and EL on a table, in their naughties or with strategically placed banisters, is no better than staring at a breakfast nook? I pity you. I'll say it one more time, while rejecting your pity. I have no use for Beyonce or Eva if they're not nekkid. I don't enjoy Beyonce's singing or acting, and I don't enjoy Eva's acting. There are millions of good-looking women in the world, they're just two of them.
  6. QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Nov 13, 2006 -> 05:58 PM) I don't care how nice your furniture is, whatever they do on that table will be more interesting, nekkid or no. Nekkid? yes. No?..........no.
  7. I wouldn't see the movie, but I'd probably do a fair amount of searching for clips on the Net. Again, nudity would be the key here. No nudity = no interest whatsoever. Those two bring nothing else to the table, IMO.
  8. QUOTE(Middle Buffalo @ Nov 13, 2006 -> 01:39 PM) My opinion, once someone picks up the phone, they're NOT coming in. Why put on a fake voice or come up with an elaborate story? Say, "I can't make it in today, I don't feel well and can't possibly work. I should be ok tomorrow. Good day, sir." Then, hang up. If they're well enough to say "good day, sir", they're well enough to come into work!
  9. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Nov 13, 2006 -> 04:51 PM) I know it's a sin to discuss mainstream in this thread, but what are people's thoughts on +44? I'm digging it; it reminds me a lot of Blink. Haven't heard them, but the bolded part of the last sentence would veer me away from them.
  10. I don't like him. It seems to me like most of his "funny" comes from saying things loudly and in a goofy fashion.
  11. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Nov 13, 2006 -> 04:11 AM) Jimmy Wang Yang needs some gold on him. Best gimmick in Wrestling right now besides Cryme Time (although that really ain't sayin much is it). I think that when the gimmick cools off with fans, Cryme Tyme's in-ring and on-mic blandness will make them disappear.
  12. I only use sick days if I absolutely have to, and if I'm "borderline sick" I go in. It's just the way I'm wired, I guess - I get too guilty about it, for both personal and professional reasons. If I call off, I'm putting my boss in a bind (I start work 3 hours before anyone else in my department does, and a lot of what I do needs to be done before anyone else starts coming in), so I only call off if I honestly am too ill to show. The good part about that is no one questions whether I'm really sick, like they do when others in my dept. call off. I've earned the benefit of the doubt over the 10 years I've been there. The bad news is on those "almost sick" days I'd really rather be home. I've had to call off with a sick daughter once or twice, but my wife works 2nd shift, so I can usually get home before she has to leave for work and the little one is cared for the whole time.
  13. QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Nov 12, 2006 -> 11:18 PM) Happiness is having three Yoko Ono albums playing in a row. I believe that if there is a hell, this would be my torture. One Yoko Ono SONG in a row makes me want to icepick my eardrums.
  14. QUOTE(Brian @ Nov 11, 2006 -> 10:49 PM) Humina humina humina Ya. Ist gud.
  15. QUOTE(Brian @ Nov 11, 2006 -> 12:17 PM) Anyone see Amy, Jimmy Wang Yang's girlfriend? Yowzas! I was upset when she was booted from the Diva Search so early. She is smoking and natural. I'm sure Vince will change that last part soon. This post is useless without pictures.

Saw Babel last night - what a meandering, bloated mess of a movie that was. 2 and 1/2 hours that felt like 5. NOT recommended.
  17. Who's going to pay for something that we've all been subjected to for free for years already? If there was ever a purpose for the puke smiley on this message board, this is it, but since it's gone, I will use the smiley depicting the pain my eyes would feel if I happen to see that mess naked again:
  18. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Nov 9, 2006 -> 05:45 PM) Looks like they changed the match. It's 4 on 4 and neither Arn or Mitch will be involved, but both will be at ringside. I thought Arn had chronic arm troubles anyway. I was a bit surprised that he was listed to perform.
  19. QUOTE(That funky motion @ Nov 9, 2006 -> 03:44 PM) I know that I tried to move my seats, and my rep said no one is really dropping out. I just have 2 seats,so it sounds like everyone is staying. I remember folks around here saying that they were told by their reps that the renewal rate was running at 97% or so.
  20. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Nov 9, 2006 -> 04:46 PM) True. I use a mini for working out mostly, and I have dropped it several times etc and it works just fine. I would go for a lower end model if that is your main focus. Those high end video ipods just arent designed for the wear and tear. Yep. I only use my video ipod on the train and with the all-too-expensive padded case (with a belt clip) I bought to wear it at work on Sunday nights.
  21. QUOTE(Brian @ Nov 9, 2006 -> 04:17 PM) Not sure if it is just me, but I would NEVER put Sgt. Slaughter in the same legends category as Flair, Arn, Piper, or Dusty. He never stood out to me as a great performer or revolutionized the business in any way. The Slaughter I know cheated the Warrior out of the title and turned his back on the US. He's considered a "legend" only because he's been a loyal employee of Vince's for so long. He was nothing special as a performer, as Slaughter or as a Super Destroyer.
  22. QUOTE(Brian @ Nov 9, 2006 -> 02:51 PM) I will absolutely mark out if I see an Arn Anderson spine buster! I will absolutely mark out if I see a Sgt. Slaughter..................oh, wait, that's right, I ****ing HATE Sgt. Slaughter.
  23. QUOTE(Wanne @ Nov 9, 2006 -> 11:59 AM) Like I said...having Eric Byrnes as your model does absolutely nothing for them. But the read unis are sharp. A HELL OF A LOT better than that friggin purple. Couldn't find any pictures of the road greys. The white ones are the worst of the bunch. Should have gone sleeveless for the whites. And last but not least...Chris Young donning the new uni.... I do like the black jersey with the A. Keep the rest of them, though - like I read somewhere, it's like the Astros uniforms and Nationals uniforms had a baby.
  24. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Nov 8, 2006 -> 07:15 PM) Critic, if you want to talk stinker...new SS match Team Cena Cena, RVD, Sabu, Lashley, Kane vs Team Big Show Big Show, Umaga, Finlay, Test and Montel Vontavious Porter There are so many reasons to not watch the Survivor Series. This is merely one more. I'm still wishing for AAE to get more wrestlers to manage, so I wouldn't have to pay as much attention to OOOOOOOOOOOMAHGAHHHHHH anymore.
  25. I don't like those uniforms one bit. Those look too much like Nationals uniforms, and both the phrase "D-backs" and the font they use are bad. Given the choice of those or last year's, I'd take last year's in a heartbeat.
