  1. Love Watson. Not sure how long his career will be but that guy is a lot of fun and damn good.
  2. No, but he's not good because he's never been good. This half is just further confirmation that he's the same old, not good, Mitch. I wanted nothing more than to see progress but we started hearing the same excuses early in camp AGAIN. "Mitch not looking sharp but it's because the Bears defense is so dominant." Please. Guy had gotten no better. Cant get past his first read.
  3. For the record, I wanted Watson and Watson is much better than Mitch as well imo. The Bears had their pick of three guys. They did NOT have to trade up to get any of them. They chose to trade a lot to draft the worst of the bunch. It's not pretty, not sure what else to say.
  4. Not really though. No one was taking Mitch. The bears were laughed at pretty thoroughly for that deal. It was unnecessary. I didn't laugh because if that was their guy, go get him. Sadly their current head coach reportedly liked Mahomes better but he wasn't here at the time and our GM did a horrible job of evaluating the talent between the two.
  5. There's 16 games in a season. No one plays in the preseason anymore. Excuses are endless for Mitch. He's in the perfect position to succeed and he's just not very good. Not his fault. This portrayal of him as being a reason for the Bears success is comical though.
  6. An elite of elite QB. Instead they gave up extra picks and drafted a guy that only they wanted that high. Just atrocious.
  7. It's never his fault to some. He honestly should have at least 2 INTs tonight. Again. Late on throws. Doesn't find open receivers constantly. He's just not a good NFL QB. He's a nice scrambler.
  8. Trubisky is awful. The people who make excuses for him endlessly drive me insane.
  9. He never strikes out and doesn't have anywhere near the power.
  10. You have a guy who is top 10 in the league easily and another guy who ranks 41st in baseball and I believe is older... I love the confidence in Lopez but saying he's better than Gio, or has the talent to be better, is a real reach.
  11. Yeah, I heard the same thing.
  12. Haven't watched but how did he give up the one hit?
  13. Javy Vazquez was never ever this bad. Javy Vazquez wasn't as good as his metrics but he wasnt as bad as lopez has been. Lopez doesn't have good metrics either because when he's bad he's so bad. When he's good he's lights out but he has no idea what makes him good it seems.
  14. I've never seen any pitcher in my lifetime that is harder to figure out and evaluate than Reynaldo Lopez. How can you be so dominant and so bad in such short periods of time?
  15. 2020 needs to be a competitive year.
  16. Guy may clean sweep the awards for position players.
  17. Abreu knows. No one taking it harder than him when, in the grand scheme of things, it meant nothing. Obviously terrible baserunning but is what it is.
  18. "That guys not even a vendor" was a classic for Bennetti right there.
