Anderson runs kind of like a moron, it's amazing that he's so fast. Robert looks like a sprinter. That dude should be playing wide out for the bears.

Robert and Eloy are also pretty close to the same age though. I'm not worried about the gap in their at bats.

This is such a lazy take. Abrams is the second best prep bat with very good bat to ball skills by all accounts. Not every black kid who runs well is a 'Football player' and Adley Rutschman is a football player, btw

I'm not sure the overall strategy has changed. I think, and acknowledge that this is purely speculation, the FO felt that they acquired the necessary top end talent to open a competitive window through trades and inter. signings and were using the draft for 'high floor' supplement to that group, and once that group mostly advanced through the minors it's time to shift back to drafting for ceiling.
