  1. Ah I missed the beginning
  2. Seems like it’s been awhile since Anderson has had a hiccup
  3. Nice heads up play at least
  4. Peak in the dugout at ricky
  5. I’m almost glad that it is readily apparent now how much of his solid performances last year were mostly mirage.
  6. Hahahahaha I loooooove beating the shit out of the orioles
  7. Or he could stat in center I guess
  8. Seriously pick up Ozuna or castellanos and slot Leury at second and that’s a lineup that does have any slap you in the face obvious holes other than maybe catching the ball. Im real high on Garcia if you can’t tell.
  9. Leury should be the starting 2b when it’s Robert time
  10. Even when he hasn’t gotten dinged up it has always looked like he shoulda have been dinged up with the exception of the one 14 k game
  11. Put the ball and your bat on the moon Timothy
  12. Looks like I’ve missed a fun one. It’s never the ass kickings I miss
  13. Don't jinx it
  14. Anderson runs kind of like a moron, it's amazing that he's so fast. Robert looks like a sprinter. That dude should be playing wide out for the bears.
  15. Robert and Eloy are also pretty close to the same age though. I'm not worried about the gap in their at bats.
  16. next when the roster goes to 26
  17. Striking out 18/9 on a bad day is a pretty good sign tbh
  18. I kinda agree with the premise that he should come up before 2020 if they want to compete, but not because he's a 'Sox Prospect'. If he has a weakness to be exposed it's best to find about it now.
  19. Oh and that bum Frank Thomas. But that was a different regime.
  20. Ah well they were lumped together so I jumped to a conclusion. Also, correct me if I'm wrong but the Sox have drafted, what, 2 notable football/baseball guys? One of which was a huge prospect for a while.
  21. This is such a lazy take. Abrams is the second best prep bat with very good bat to ball skills by all accounts. Not every black kid who runs well is a 'Football player' and Adley Rutschman is a football player, btw
  22. Was just about to say the same thing
  23. The fall off in expected value between top 5 and everything else is pretty steep.
  24. Kiley a 75% chance Abrams’ goes to the sox. So I think the odds of Vaughn are preeeeeetty slim
  25. I'm not sure the overall strategy has changed. I think, and acknowledge that this is purely speculation, the FO felt that they acquired the necessary top end talent to open a competitive window through trades and inter. signings and were using the draft for 'high floor' supplement to that group, and once that group mostly advanced through the minors it's time to shift back to drafting for ceiling.
