  1. I've always wondered if genuinely believed what he was saying or just went too far trying to back up Adam LaRoche
  2. It would be awesome if more players did this. Well, probably not from a baseball standpoint, but from a 'I don't like the old rich guys who run baseball teams' stand point.

Who was just a pretty nice player until his 3rd full season

Let's hold off on this conversation until Moncada has been in the league for 6 years, yeah?
  5. Jerks are capable of good moments. Nobody is accusing him of being a total sociopath, just a guy that seems to rub everyone who's ever worked with him the wrong way.
  6. Just so everyone knows verlander has given up 4 or more hits in 3 starts this year, so maybe view the game through that lense.
  7. Dude....I think Stoney is actually psychic
  8. I hate Wellington Castillo
  9. could really use a triple play here. Also holy shit they need to find a starter
  10. He’s gotten fooled twice on pitches 4 inches off the plate. It’s not his stance, it’s recognition. Anthony Rizzo wouldn’t have hit that.
  11. I’d like to see the stat cast info on that because it looked like an ugly route in real time.
  12. It’s incredible to the point that I can’t help but be suspicious.
  13. Damn that was a nice piece of hitting
  14. I can’t wait til Verlander gets popped for roids
  15. Can’t believe a team lead by three lunatics and a 12 year old collapsed
  16. https://streamable.com/lay6l?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ios_share_flow_optimization&utm_term=control_1 someone put a mike to Frazier and he went for it.
  17. Eaton has always struck me as the kind of guy that fancies himself some kind of grand leader when in reality everyone thinks he's an annoying prick. This seems to bear that out. I've played with quite a few Adam Eaton's.
  18. I will simply convince myself Witt is the better player
  19. Big Bennetti supported, but I agree. Almost like he went in prepared for a blow out and when the Sox held up their end of that bargain he treated it as such. Granted there was very little action anyway.
  20. No, but I would if they were called up a month ago. I also remain unconvinced that White Sox fans are mentally prepared for the Zack Collins Experience and whatever it may entail.
  21. Mendick means giving up on either Yolmer or Rodon likely forever, which okay most people are probably fine with, but you better be damn sure which one you don't see a use for.
  22. Don't think I even pick up the phone if they call unless Miguel Amaya or Hoerner is involved. They probably wouldn't be, but that's fine, not sure why everyone is so set on the Cubs.
  23. Punting 2020 is the wrong move so keep him unless someone blows you away. Punting 2019 was the wrong move too, but that is neither here nor there.

Where almost 2 months into the year and he has an OPS over . 850. I said I'd be happy in the .790 to .810 range. It would take a pretty monumental collapse for this year to not be a marked improvement on last, where he was already an average player.
  25. I also convinced myself that Abrams is a rock solid choice after seeing it's apparent he is going to the Sox
