He was cleared to rejoin the team last week. He’s currently at their training site getting his reps in.

I think that round of BP yesterday really did the trick!

That’ll be 3 days worth of activities. Plus he was taking part in summer camp scrimmages before his absence. I think he’ll be fine.

Mazara should be fine to travel to KC since he’s recovered & currently immune (who knows for how long though).

Both Braves catchers tested negative. They just put them on the IL out of an abundance of caution.

League should issue a mandate to have masks on at all times in the dugout, and how about actually making use of the extra makeshift dugouts to help with social distancing.

The time to start worrying was the moment we learned Kopech was opting out. That meant the more we had to rely on 1 SP coming off TJ surgery, and another who’s been mostly bad in his career.

This is why depth is super important this year. Hopefully they were taking precautions in the clubhouse/on the field and nobody else retests positive. Selfishly, I just hope MLB doesn’t do anything drastic in response to this. We need sports back in this country!

Yes Puig tested positive for COVID. He made an ig post a few days ago saying he feels fine and asymptotic.
