No, they don't. They aren't going to give up one of their best players while bordering a WC for Walker, Basabe, Adolfo etc. And the Sox aren't going to trade away Madrigal.

As much as I'd love getting him I don't see why the Mets would trade him while they are a borderline WC team. We also don't have anything to trade for him.

I'm not pining for Ian Happ, I asked if he does anything for anyone as a super sub.

He needs a third pitch he can throw for strikes and fix his command. If he doesn't make any changes this off season he's going to be the same guy which is a fringe #5.

Ian Happ do anything for anyone? He'll only be 25 next year, switch hitter with pop, plays everywhere. He's positve WAR and young enough. He would be cheap to obtain I'd think.

I'd really like Grandal and rotate him and Collins between DH/1B/C. I said it before but I have a feeling they will look at Grandal as a luxury and not a need since we have McCann and Collins. That is an easy solution for a lefty bat though. Iirc, Grandal falls apart the 2nd half of the year at the plate. Maybe he would welcome being able to DH.

I don't get you sometimes. You realize Ozuna and Castellanos have more bWAR this year than Mazara has had his entire career combined, but you want to trade for Mazara and not just sign one of those 2. Lol
